I don't know how you're feeling at the moment, but I'm weary. I'm tired. I have too many things to do and not enough motivation to follow through. Little things are getting me down and I kinda feel like I need some alone time to get my thoughts straight, to prioritise and simply to rest.
My comfort today is in God and His promises. People may make us promises that inevitably they don't keep but when God makes a promise, and He makes many in His Word, He NEVER breaks one of them, not EVER!
Today's verses (below) talk about finding rest, power and strength in Him. So if like me, you're trying to get by on your own strength and understanding, stop right now and give the control back to God, ask Him to fill you with His rest and power to face another week. Ask God for His wisdom and understanding. Ask God to help you love those around you with His love and grace.
Isaiah 40:28-31 (NIV)
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Blessings and Love

I can so relate to needing some 'quiet, alone' time. Even my bed seems to contain a lot of ill little bodies lately. Oh well, my time will come!
