I just wanted to share with you the great little magazine that I came across just recently.
It's called 'Footprints' and it's published in Australia (QLD) by Australian women. The first magazine was released January 1998. The founder and editor is a lady named Janet Camilleri who I've had some great email chats with. At the time the magazine was born Janet had 2 small children at home and wondered what she could be doing for God. The idea of a magazine had been on her heart for a while but she thought that, given her situation and age of her children, it would happen 'later'. Here it is 11 years later, building readers and sharing God. I'm drawn to Footprints because my reasons for writing and the story of how this blog and my book came about are really similar to Janet's.
I received my first copy of 'Footprints' this week and have really enjoyed and been encouraged by the articles. Janet and her team contribute to the magazine but they welcome articles by their readers - hey you may even see some thoughts from me in the next few issues :)

I don't know if this offer applies to Americans, but if it does, count me in! If not, I understand; international fees can be expensive!
I had a look at the footprints website and it looks really encouraging.
I have read a few issues of Footprints thanks to a subscribing friend - but would love to win my own!

(I'm not ignoring, you...I promise! Internet Explorer, yahoo messenger and Yahoo mail have been giving me headaches, some blogs won't load, or if they do, the comment form doesn't work, I'm having trouble posting on my own blog or uploading photos, etc.

I uninstalled some programs this morning and re-installed them, so hopefully I've gotten it sorted out.

Hi Narelle, I had no idea you were giving away a sub to Footprints! I thought it might be a copy of your book - guess this means I can't enter than LOL. I was telling my hubby about you today and he said "I think Narelle should be made a Footprints Team member right now whether she likes it or not!" and I had to laugh, because I know you have already volunteered to be out WA rep!!!!
